Carlos Rojas – Co-Founder
Carlos Rojas began his career in roofing, where he developed an early appreciation for durable materials and the importance of doing the job right the first time. His dedication and natural eye for detail quickly led him into full residential construction, where he discovered his true calling. With every project, Carlos built a reputation for precision, consistency, and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
That passion for quality eventually led him to co-found Marco Island Contracting Group with his lifelong friend, Carlos Rivas. While Carlos Rivas grew up immersed in the trade through his family, Carlos Rojas brought his roofing expertise and broadened it into general contracting. Together, they combined their knowledge, experience, and shared vision for building homes that last.
Carlos believes that strong foundations extend beyond the structures themselves. They represent trust, integrity, and lasting relationships. At Marco Island Contracting Group, he carries that principle forward by ensuring the company always honors its word, delivers as promised, and treats every home as if it were his own.

Carlos Rivas – Co-Founder
Raised in a family of builders, Carlos Rivas was introduced to the construction industry from a young age. With a strong foundation in residential construction and years of hands-on field experience, he brings both leadership and vision to every project. His upbringing instilled in him a respect for hard work, attention to detail, and the importance of quality craftsmanship.
Carlos grew up on Marco Island alongside his lifelong best friend, Carlos Rojas. From elementary through high school, the two shared not only strong family ties to the community but also a love for building. Summers were spent working construction jobs, learning the trade and developing the skills that would eventually shape their careers.
What began as a friendship and teamwork on the playing field evolved into a trusted business partnership. Today, Carlos Rivas and Carlos Rojas lead Marco Island Contracting Group with the same values they’ve carried since childhood, commitment, integrity, and a deep passion for creating lasting homes for families in their community.

Founded in 2020, Marco Island Contracting Group is a Certified General Contractor (CGC) licensed in the state of Florida and proudly based on Marco Island. Our roots in the community give us an in-depth understanding of local regulations, climate challenges, and coastal construction best practices that are essential for building in Southwest Florida.
We launched Marco Island Contracting Group during the COVID-19 pandemic, starting out in the interior remodeling niche. As two young builders transitioning from working under others to running our own company, we began with smaller condo remodels and gradually expanded into larger projects, eventually taking on full gut renovations. Our long-term vision has always been to move into custom new home construction, where we can guide families through the design and building process to bring their dream homes to life.
Today, we continue to build on that foundation by combining hands-on experience, local expertise, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship in every project we take on.
